More about tennis
Tennis is a fast and accessible racket sport played on sand. The sport combines elements of tennis, beach volleyball and badminton and is suitable for recreational use, training, clinics, tournaments and competitive matches.
W&H supplies materials for setting up tennis courts. The range includes, among other things, tennis posts, mobile base frames and court line marking. This makes it possible to set up a beach court clearly, safely and professionally.
When setting up a tennis court, it is important to take into account the correct dimensions, post position, net setup, court line marking, sand quality and safety. A good setup ensures enjoyable play and clear field demarcation.
W&H is happy to think along about the complete setup of your tennis court. We look at the location, the use, the target group and any combination with other beach sports.
Tennis posts form the basis of the net setup. The posts must be placed firmly in the sand and be suitable for use in a beach environment.
Depending on the location and use, a fixed or flexible solution can be chosen. We can advise which post setup best suits your beach court.
A mobile base frame for tennis posts is ideal for beach courts that are used multifunctionally. The frame makes it possible to place the posts securely and remove the setup again after use.
This is especially practical when the same beach court is also used for beach volleyball, beach handball, beach korfball, beach badminton or other beach sports. This keeps the field safe, flexible and suitable for many uses.
For tennis, it is important that the materials meet the requirements of the KNLTB. Think of correct dimensions, safe setup, clear line marking and a good net construction.
W&H’s tennis materials meet the requirements of the KNLTB. This makes them suitable for clubs, municipalities and facilities where tennis is offered in a safe and professional way.
Many beach courts are set up for multiple sports. By choosing mobile base frames and clear line marking, the same space can be used flexibly for different beach sports.
Tennis fits well within such a multifunctional setup. W&H can advise on how the materials can best be combined with other sports on the same beach court.
