Where sport, play and sustainability come together

At W&H, it is about more than fitting out sports and play environments. For years, we have created playgrounds, sports facilities, public spaces and stadiums that invite people to move, play and perform. That experience is our foundation, but for us it is only the beginning.

We believe in the power of Winning & Happiness. Sport and play are about pushing boundaries, developing yourself and getting the best out of yourself. But fun, relaxation, meeting others and connection are just as important. That combination is the starting point for the environments we develop and build.

With our mission Move more. Waste less., we connect movement to a future-proof living environment. We want to get more people playing sport, playing and moving, while using materials and raw materials more consciously.

That is why we look beyond the function of a product or fitting. We keep looking for ways to make our use of materials more sustainable, to reuse raw materials and to develop solutions that last a long time. After recycling, materials from worn-out artificial turf pitches and plastic from consumer waste get a new use in sport, play and public spaces.

Sport starts with play

At W&H, we see sport and play as inseparable. Movement often starts with play: discovering, pushing boundaries, working together and having fun. From that basis, there is room for further development, performance and getting the best out of yourself.

From playgrounds and activity areas to sports facilities and stadiums, we create places that challenge people at their own level to move, grow and have fun. This way, we connect play, development and performance in one environment.

Circularity as part of the environment

Together with GreenMatter, we take our circularity ambition further. Materials from worn-out artificial turf pitches, among other sources, are turned into new products for sports facilities, play areas and public spaces. This keeps valuable material in the chain for longer and creates new applications from existing raw materials.
