More about information boards

Information boards make information clear and easy to see for visitors, athletes, students, staff and passers-by. They can be used for, among other things, notices, posters, floor plans, opening hours, competition information, house rules and event announcements.

W&H supplies information boards for, among other things, sports clubs, sports halls, schools, public buildings, municipalities, recreational parks and multi-purpose facilities. Depending on the location and application, you can choose either a freestanding information board or a wall board.

A single-sided information board is suitable for locations where information needs to be visible from one walking direction or viewing side. Think of entrances, walking routes, parking lots, sports parks, school yards or the outside of a building.

This design is practical when the board is placed along a clear line of sight. Visitors can quickly view information without the board taking up unnecessary space.

A double-sided information board is suitable for locations where visitors approach from multiple sides. Think of squares, entrances, routes in sports parks or public spaces where information needs to be visible from two directions.

Because both sides can be used, visibility is increased. This makes a double-sided information board a good choice for busy locations or places where many pedestrian flows come together.

In addition to freestanding information boards, W&H also supplies wall boards. These are mounted directly to the wall and are suitable for corridors, entrances, changing room zones, cafeterias, sports halls, schools and public buildings.

A wall board saves space and gives notices or posters a neat, fixed place. That helps prevent loose papers, temporary attachments or cluttered communication on walls and doors.

The information boards are fitted with toughened glass and anti-theft locks. As a result, the content remains well protected against unauthorized opening, damage and weather influences. That makes the boards suitable for public and intensively used spaces.

For sports facilities and public buildings, this is important, because information often needs to remain visible to many different users and visitors.

A good information board helps give the accommodation a well-kept appearance. Information is not hung up loosely, but presented in a fixed and recognizable place. This makes communication clearer and more professional.

Whether it’s match schedules, club news, route information, safety instructions or posters: with an information board, the message stays clear and easy to see.

The right choice depends on the location, the desired visibility, the size of the information and the way the board is used. A wall board is often suitable for indoor spaces or building facades, while a freestanding single- or double-sided information board stands out more in outdoor areas.

We are happy to help you choose the right design and placement, so the information board fits well with the accommodation and everyday use.
