More about 3x3 basketball courts
3x3 basketball is a fast and accessible form of basketball that fits perfectly within sports parks, schoolyards and public exercise spaces. Because of the compact playing field, relatively little space is needed to create an attractive sports facility where different target groups can do sports independently or in an organised way.
W&H supplies solutions for complete 3x3 basketball courts. This can include coordinating the sports flooring, basketball installation, line marking and further layout. This creates one cohesive sports area that fits the available space, the use and the desired appearance.
For 3x3 basketball, we can apply modular sports floors. The floor consists of separate tiles that together form one sports surface and can be tailored to the desired colour scheme and line marking.
Thanks to the modular structure, these floors are suitable for both permanent and temporary courts. In doing so, we also look at the existing sub-base, levelness and drainage to arrive at a suitable flooring solution.
3x3 basketball fits well within public exercise spaces and schoolyards. The compact court invites spontaneous sports activity and can be used by different ages and target groups.
We think along about the right integration within the available space. In this way, a 3x3 court can become an independent sports facility, but can also be part of a larger multifunctional sports or exercise square.
A 3x3 basketball court can be installed permanently, but can also be set up temporarily for, for example, events, tournaments and sports activations.
We tailor the execution to the way the court is used. Different requirements apply to a permanent public sports area than to a temporary event setup. Consider durability, sub-base, movability, maintenance and intensity of use.
Every location requires a different approach. That is why, for a 3x3 basketball court, we look at, among other things, the dimensions, sub-base, basketball installation, sports flooring, line marking, drainage and appearance.
We think along from the initial layout to the final realization. This way we ensure that the different components fit together well and that the court suits the location and daily use.
