Playgrounds
For schoolyards, neighborhoods, parks and sports facilities, we offer a variety of products for arranging play and leisure spaces. From play equipment and benches to picnic tables, waste bins and planters. When we design a space, we look at the available area, the users, the surface and the intended use, so that the different components come together logically in one environment.

From used plastic to new play equipment
Our circular play equipment is made from more than 90% recycled plastic, sourced from post-consumer waste. Think of plastic packaging and other products that have already had a first life. These materials are collected, sorted, cleaned and processed into new raw materials for the production of play equipment.
Together with our partner Westfalia Spielgeräte, which has worked with recycled plastics since 2004, we give these materials a new purpose. Reuse is central to the production process. As a result, the core of our plastic components is made from recycled material, and for colored versions only the thin outer layer uses new plastic.
From used material...
to new raw material...
... into years of playtime!
Made to last
Circular use of materials goes beyond reusing raw materials. Just as important is how long a play unit lasts. Our play equipment made from recycled plastic has been developed for years of intensive use in outdoor spaces. The material is splinter-free, tear-resistant, colorfast and able to withstand a wide range of weather conditions. In addition, it requires little maintenance, because painting or impregnation is not needed.
By consciously choosing recycled plastic, we combine a long service life with quality, safety and a lower need for new raw materials. We provide 20 years of warranty on the plastic structure. In addition, our play equipment from the Jubilics series carries the independent environmental label Der Blaue Engel, which sets strict requirements for the environmental properties of products.
This way, you choose a play environment that invites children to play and move for generations, with attention to quality, maintenance and responsible material use.
Get to know Loopie, our circular play friend!
Loopie is our cheerful mascot and lets children get to know circularity in a playful way. Because did you know that plastic waste doesn’t always have to be the end? From used packaging to new play equipment: Loopie shows how waste gains new value and turns into years of playtime.
Loopie sets an example himself. He is made from more than 90% recycled plastic, the same material we use for our circular play equipment. That makes visible what we stand for: less waste, more reuse and above all a lot of playtime.
Everything for playgrounds
More about play environments
W&H Play helps municipalities, schools, childcare locations, recreation parks and public space planners realize safe, colorful and future-proof playground environments. Whether it’s a new play area, the renovation of an existing playground or replacing loose play equipment: we think along with you about a design that fits the age group, location and play value. Our circular play equipment is largely made from recycled plastic. We don’t see plastic as waste, but as valuable raw material. During the processing process, plastics are pre-sorted, cleaned and processed into high-quality granulate. Strong components for play equipment with a long service life are made from this material. The result is a sustainable play environment with maximum play value: safe for children, low-maintenance for managers and responsible for people and nature.
Circular play equipment is play equipment in which raw materials remain in use for as long as possible. Instead of using new material, plastics from waste streams are reused as the basis for strong, durable play equipment. This creates less waste and gives existing materials a new function.
Our play equipment made from recycled plastic is suitable for a wide range of play environments, such as public play areas, schoolyards, daycare centers, recreation parks and nature play areas. By combining play value, safety and sustainability, you create a play space ready for intensive daily use.
We supply a broad range of play equipment for different ages, types of play and locations. Think of play combinations, climbing equipment, balancing equipment, equipment for toddlers, sand and water play equipment, role-play equipment, motor skills equipment, rotating equipment, swings, seesaws and slides.
For every play environment, we look at the target group, available space, desired play value and appearance. For young children, clear and accessible equipment is important, while older children are challenged by climbing, balancing, spinning and playing together. This creates a play space that fits its users.
Our play equipment is designed for long-term use in outdoor spaces. The recycled plastic is low-maintenance, weather-resistant, easy to clean and suitable for intensive use. That’s why the equipment remains functional and presentable for years, even in busy playgrounds.
A major advantage is that the material doesn’t need to be impregnated, painted or coated. This limits maintenance and ensures a stable appearance in the long term. Many play units are supplied with a 20-year warranty, so managers can count on a long-term investment.
At play environments, children’s safety always comes first. That’s why our play equipment is made from solid, stable and tear-resistant plastic components. The material is splinter-free and therefore very suitable for intensive use by young children.
In addition, the equipment is designed with attention to play value, accessibility and practical use. Whether it’s climbing, sliding, balancing, swinging or role play: children should be able to play freely, discover and move in an environment that is designed to be safe and reliable.
Our play equipment made from recycled plastic is safe for people and nature. Because the material does not require impregnating agents or a coating, no unnecessary substances are added to make the product suitable for outdoor use.
The applied plastic is safe for health and the environment and harmless for soil and water according to DIN EN 71-3. That means the play equipment is suitable for public playgrounds, schoolyards, childcare locations and other environments where children play every day. This is how we combine play fun with responsible material use.
For our playground equipment, plastic is used again as a valuable raw material. Plastic packaging waste, post-consumer plastic and post-industrial plastic are given a new application in sustainable playground equipment. This is how we reduce waste and limit the use of new raw materials.
The three-layer boards consist of more than 90% recycled packaging waste and are used, among other things, in panels, roofs and screening panels. Post-consumer plastic is used for uprights and profiles as the base structure. Due to its high mechanical load-bearing capacity, post-industrial plastic is suitable for load-bearing components, slide side panels and water play equipment. After use, the material is recyclable again.
A sustainable play environment doesn’t have to be boring. When developing our playground equipment, high play value and a colourful design are central. Children are drawn to shapes, colours and play features that invite them to explore, move around and play together.
Our three-layer boards consist of more than 90% recycled plastic and are provided with a colourful 2 mm top layer. This way we combine sustainability with appearance. The result is a play area that is not only responsibly built, but also recognisable, lively and appealing to children.
Many of our playground equipment items are distinguished with the environmental label Blauer Engel. This label is awarded to products that meet strict requirements in the areas of environment, health and responsible material use.
For managers, municipalities and schools, this provides extra certainty when choosing sustainable playground equipment. It shows that circular material use, safety and quality can work well together. This way you choose not only a play structure with a high play value, but also a product with demonstrably sustainable properties.
