GreenMatter Ecoraster (grass) tile

Strengthen parking spaces, footpaths and storage areas with the water-permeable GreenMatter Ecoraster grass tiles. The tiles combine a stable base with room for greenery and rainwater infiltration. A practical solution for sports parks and public space, with attention to circularity, biodiversity and climate adaptation.

The Ecoraster grass tiles are made from 100% recycled plastic. Half consists of recycled artificial grass from worn artificial grass pitches, so not production waste. The other half comes from household plastic waste. This gives used raw materials a new purpose in and around the sports facility.

At the end of their service life, the tiles are fully recyclable. We supply the grass tiles including a guarantee statement for the raw materials and a REACH statement.

The open structure of the grass tiles allows rainwater to pass through to the subsoil, provided the soil build-up is suitable for this. With infill of grass, herbs, sedum or moss, there is also room for vegetation. In this way, parking spaces and other outdoor surfaces can help create a greener environment and support biodiversity.

You can also fill the tiles with gravel. In addition, there is a variant with concrete paving stones or rubber blocks. By combining different infills, you can tailor the layout to the use and the desired look of your site.

The grass tiles are equipped with stable, safe click connections. This enables fast installation, up to 100 m² per hour per person. When filled, the tiles have a load-bearing capacity of up to 800 tonnes per m².
