More about wardrobes

A functional wardrobe helps create clarity, ease of use and a well-kept look for the room. Visitors, athletes, students and staff can easily hang coats, bags and other items. This keeps changing rooms, corridors and entrance areas tidy and accessible.

W&H supplies wardrobes for a wide variety of applications. Think of changing rooms in sports clubs, sports halls, swimming pools, schools, offices, public buildings and multi-purpose facilities. Depending on the space and use, you can choose a wall-mounted wardrobe, a free-standing wardrobe rack or a mobile wardrobe.

Wall-mounted wardrobes are suitable for spaces where a fixed and clearly organised hanging point is desired. Because the wardrobe is fixed to the wall, the floor remains free and the available space is used efficiently. This makes wall-mounted wardrobes suitable for changing rooms, corridors, rooms, staff areas and entrance areas.

A wall-mounted wardrobe can be provided with one or more rows of coat hooks, optionally in combination with a hat rack or clothes hangers. This allows the wardrobe to be matched to the number of users and the available wall space.

In addition to wall-mounted wardrobes, free-standing wardrobe racks are also possible. These are suitable for spaces where wall mounting is not desirable or not possible. Free-standing wardrobe racks can be designed as single-sided or double-sided, depending on the desired capacity and layout of the space.

A double-sided wardrobe rack provides hanging space on both sides and is therefore practical for larger changing rooms, sports halls, schools and public buildings. For smaller spaces, a single-sided wardrobe rack can be just the compact, organised solution.

Every space requires a different wardrobe layout. That is why different combinations are possible with coat hooks, clothes hangers, hat racks and umbrella stands. Coat hooks are practical for intensive use, while clothes hangers ensure a neat, presentable look.

Hat racks provide extra storage space above the wardrobe and umbrella stands complete the furnishing for entrance areas and public spaces. This creates a wardrobe solution that fits the use of the facility.

For spaces that are used flexibly, mobile or wheeled wardrobes can be a good solution. These wardrobes are easy to move and therefore suitable for events, sports days, temporary support, multi-purpose rooms or locations where the layout changes regularly.

With a wheeled wardrobe you can quickly create extra hanging space when you need it, without requiring fixed installation on the wall or floor.

The choice of a wardrobe is determined by the available space, the number of users, the required capacity and the way the space is used. We are happy to think along with you about a practical version and an efficient layout.

Whether it is a fixed wall-mounted wardrobe in a changing room, a free-standing wardrobe rack in a sports hall or a wheeled wardrobe for multi-purpose use: we will gladly advise you on a suitable solution.
