More about match football goal with recessed ground frame

For professional football stadiums, a recessed ground frame forms a safe and neatly finished solution around the goal. Because the ground frame is installed below ground level, the area behind the goal line remains free of protruding parts.

The football goal with recessed ground frame has been developed for professional football stadiums and main pitches. Because the ground frame is installed below ground level, the area behind the goal line remains free of protruding parts. This reduces the risk of goalkeepers and outfield players coming into contact with the ground frame during a slide or save.

W&H Sports develops football goals based on practical experience and the wishes of clubs and stadium managers. Over the years, various versions have emerged, including hinged, movable and wheeled stadium goals. Safety, ease of use and a long service life are central to this.

Professional football clubs also make use of this solution. For example, football goals with recessed ground frame have been used in PSV's Philips Stadium, combining safety and a professional finish around the goal.
