Foosball is by no means an indoor sport. Certainly not with the outdoor foosball table! The range of outdoor foosball is large. Most outdoor foosball tables are made of plastic, synthetic resin, metal or so-called plywood panels. The individual parts (body, feet, etc.) are often partly connected with weather-resistant glue. The plastic playing figures are often cast directly onto the playing rods.
In terms of lifespan, many such foosball tables can hardly compete with W&H Sports outdoor foosball tables. Polymer concrete is simply unbeatable with decades of weather resistance and low wear. A number of general rules apply to indoor and outdoor foosball. For example, the playing pieces may not be rotated 360 degrees and when shooting, a hand must always remain on the handle. It is also not permitted to exert excessive force on the table, for example by shaking the table.
When the ball is thrown in, it is first checked whether the opponent is ready. After a goal, the team that conceded the goal may put the ball back into play. When a ball is no longer playable, it is thrown in again. If the ball is shot out of the playing field, the other team gets the ball at the goalkeeper.
In principle, a goal may be scored from any position on the playing field. Additional rules may apply to passing the ball. These differ per foosball competition or association.

The outdoor foosball table weighs approximately 340 kg and therefore needs a solid surface. Concrete, asphalt or paved surfaces are also ideal with regard to ground anchoring. Loose concrete slabs lying on grass, for example, are also among the possibilities.
