Arnhem sports boulevard brings sport and community together

The sports boulevard is an initiative of the Municipality of Arnhem in collaboration with the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA), the Salvation Army and Sportbedrijf Arnhem. With more than 1400 residents on eight reception ships, the sports boulevard is essential for an active day and strengthening the ties between the residents, local residents and passers-by. Health and connection are central to this sports programme.

Sportbedrijf Arnhem asked us to take part in this initiative by supplying various sports materials. As of now, it is possible to play basketball, football, table tennis and work out there. We hope that all residents and local neighbours will greatly enjoy the opportunities that the sports boulevard offers.
