First SportBox in the municipality of Lansingerland

The municipality of Lansingerland has recently decided to acquire a SportBox, an innovative initiative to store sports equipment and make it accessible to everyone. This SportBox (original) provides plenty of storage space for a wide range of sports gear and is available for use by residents of all ages. The municipality of Lansingerland has chosen materials such as kettlebells, yoga mats, skipping ropes, and resistance bands. Because the SportBox is located in a park that also has a skatepark, skateboards and protective gear are also stored in the SportBox.

Why a SportBox?

The municipality wants to use the SportBox to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle among its residents. The SportBox will serve as a central hub for sports enthusiasts and contributes to the wellbeing of the local population in Lansingerland. If the box is well received, the municipality will look at which locations are suitable for a SportBox as well.
