Modular sports floors in Amsterdam
In the Theo van Goghpark and at the Amsteldorp we laid modular sports floors on existing asphalt.
Renovating playgrounds
The Municipality of Amsterdam drew up a plan to upgrade public squares. Work recently started on the Theo van Goghpark (IJburg) and a football square near the Amsteldorp. These squares are being fitted with low-maintenance plastic modular sports floors: 375 m2 at the Theo van Goghpark, including the well-known St Andrew's crosses, and 160 m2 at the Amsteldorp.
The new floor is laid with an underlay directly on top of the existing old asphalt. The modular sports floor dampens noise, drains well and is available in various colours. A logo can also be incorporated if desired.
