Screw foundation at De Toekomst

At AFC Ajax's youth complex ‘De Toekomst’ we fitted volleyball posts with a special screw foundation. Ground sockets are normally set in concrete foundations, but here an innovative foundation method was chosen.

The advantages of this foundation method: it saves costs and time, no digging is needed, no concrete is needed, it is an environmentally friendly method with a long service life and, not unimportantly, a screw foundation can be reused. The volleyball posts were installed in cooperation with Weenk Schroeffunderingen and Sport Installatie Partners.
