SJC opens new main pitch with new equipment

In 2020, Noordwijk football club SJC celebrates its 100th anniversary. Before then, a lot of work is being done on a new facility. The newly promoted 3rd division club has an ambitious building plan focused on multifunctionality and sustainability. Some time ago, renovation of the main pitch began, replacing the natural grass with artificial turf. In cooperation with AH Vrij we supplied the cage-model goals, recycled boards and brush mats.

Match goals

Cage-model goals (with tension rods) with our milled-in net fastening were installed on the main pitch by our regular installation partner Sport Installatie Partners.

Recycled boards

We also supply boards for the perimeter of artificial turf pitches. These boards are made from recycled plastic and have a technical service life of at least 40 years. They are steel-reinforced to prevent expansion due to temperature changes. Partly because of the environmental debate, the client chose boards as a boundary to keep the infill on the pitch.

Recycled brush mat

The club also chose brush mats made from recycled plastic beams.
