Stadium SC Heerenveen fitted with new materials
Last year SC Heerenveen started refurbishing the Abe Lenstra Stadium. We were allowed to work on this project in phases, with the final assignment being the supply of new stadium seats for the complete Riemer van der Velde Stand. The Abe Lenstra Stadium has a total capacity of 26,100 seats. Of these, 700 seats were removed and replaced with new stadium seats.

We were able to make a contribution to a refurbished Abe Lenstra Stadium. After preparing a detailed seats plan in advance, the choice was made for the Avatar Premium. These are provided with armrests, padding for the seats, and armrests. The stadium seats were delivered in the colours blue, white and red, which also brought back the unique pompeblêden into the stand! The stadium seats were expertly installed by our assembly partner. In addition, the seats are fitted with displays from TAS Stadionreclame. These displays make it possible to add advertising to the seats. The advertising holders are universal; suitable for both stadium seats and the more luxurious business seats.
In addition to the new stadium seats, we provided SC Heerenveen earlier on with 2 pieces of new stadium goals with tensioning rods. These stadium goals are provided with our new net securing system ‘FLEXI’. This ensures a very neat net mounting and provides certainty that the net is fully locked into the goal-profile of the football goals.
In addition, the dugouts are fitted with 50 pieces of luxury dugout seats, of which 25 seats in the home dugout are provided with seat heating. The seats feature two sponsor logos and the Heerenveen logo. The dugout seats meet the EN1021-1 and EN1021-2 standards.
