3x3 basketball court in Amsterdam's Nelson Mandela Park
For the 3x3 basketball court in Nelson Mandela Park in Amsterdam-Zuidoost, we supplied a modular sports floor featuring Amsterdam's crosses.
Last summer we supplied a new modular sports floor, personalised with Amsterdam's three crosses, for the 3x3 basketball court in Amsterdam-Zuidoost.
The popularity of this dynamic form of basketball is growing enormously; it is now the fastest-growing urban team sport in the world. A big advantage is its accessibility: anyone can play, recreationally or at a professional level, the rules are simple and you need very little.
The court in Nelson Mandela Park is a great success. It is used every day, all day long. Lots of 3x3 basketball is played, but players also use the court to work on their individual skills.
3X3 Unites
The leading 3x3 basketball organisation in the Netherlands is 3X3 Unites. Since 2016 it has been developing talent, training young people, organising top-level events and contributing to development projects worldwide. Using 3x3 basketball, they help young people take ownership of their own success.
They use their expertise to develop the sport and the public spaces where it is played. We support them by supplying the modular sports floor, for the best basketball experience.
