CardiAid AED offer: improve safety at your sports facility

We place great value on a safe sports environment. Because an AED can save lives, we have an offer for clubs to improve safety at their facilities.

CardiAid Sport AED

Every year more than 16,000 people in the Netherlands suffer cardiac arrest outside hospital: at home, at work, in a shopping centre or on the sports field. Almost half of victims can survive if rescuers can use an AED during resuscitation, a portable device that can restore the heart rhythm. The first 6 minutes are crucial: starting CPR and attaching an AED then gives the best chance of survival. Every minute, that chance drops by 10%.

Many locations still have no AED. Because an AED can be vital, we are working with CardiAid to inform you about the importance of a user-friendly AED at your sports club. CPR doubles the chance of survival. With an AED nearby you can help immediately: the device analyses the heart rhythm and gives you instructions. Even without prior knowledge you can save a life.

Why CardiAid?

CardiAid stands for German reliability: sturdy and dependable. Where other AEDs can only be used indoors, the CardiAid's high IP rating offers optimal protection against water and dust, so it can be used indoors and outdoors. It is also very user-friendly: it switches on as soon as you open the lid, and clear spoken instructions guide rescuers, even in dark or noisy environments. CardiAid provides checks and maintenance by certified technicians, so the device is always ready. Every service includes a shock test and replacement of the battery and pads. CardiAid also offers support after use: a trauma psychologist can be called in and the ECG is read out and proactively shared with emergency services after every use.
