Celebration at Schäper: FIFA Quality certified goals
Since January 2022, our manufacturer Schäper has been the first in the EU to offer FIFA Quality certified match goals.
The match goals made by our manufacturer Schäper Sportgerätebau GmbH have been successfully tested by FIFA and have received FIFA Quality certification.
Schäper started the certification process at the end of 2019. Since January 2022, it has been the first company in Germany, and even in the European Union, to offer FIFA Quality certified football goals.
Both the match goals with tension bars (type 1) and those with net bars (type 2) meet the strict criteria of the FIFA Quality Programme, and thus of the world's largest football federation.
The FIFA Quality Programme aims to maintain a predefined level of quality, for the products themselves as well as for the production process and purchasing. It is based on scientific findings about footballers' needs and the optimal conditions for safety, performance, durability and product quality.
The extensive tests therefore covered more than the quality of the goals. The working environment, the treatment of employees and compliance with work processes (WFSGI Pledge / ISO 9001) were also important factors. FIFA also reserves the right to inspect certified products in the future, including without prior notice.
After more than a year, all tests were successfully completed, so two types of match goals may now be designated and marked as ‘FIFA Quality certified’.
One of Germany's most traditional football goal manufacturers has once again set a new standard in quality and durability. As the company's motto puts it: we were building sports equipment while others were still playing with it.
