Innovation in athletics

Athletics is humanity's oldest sport and is often called ‘the mother of all sports’ because it covers the basic human movements. Besides running events, athletics includes jumping and throwing events.

Classic athletics facility fit-out

Since 2002 we have specialised in supplying athletics equipment. All of it meets the requirements of the Dutch Athletics Federation and is certified to World Athletics standards. We have fitted out many athletics facilities, such as the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam and the indoor athletics track at Omnisport Apeldoorn.

Interactive sport

We are increasingly asked how an athletics facility can be made future-proof. How do you make the sport more attractive and interactive?

Athletics is a sport of details; running events in particular are decided by hundredths of a second. Data is used more and more these days, because measuring is knowing. Young people also grow up with gaming and need to be challenged in a different, more interactive way than before.

SmartGoals Interactive Running Track

Together with our partner SmartGoals, we offer the SmartGoals Interactive Running Track: a permanent installation suitable for sports facilities and public spaces. You can use it for sprint exercises over different distances and for various tests. Because times appear instantly in the SmartGoals app, young athletes are challenged to beat their personal best, and their training partners' times too.

SmartGoals Timing System

If there is no room for a permanent installation, sprint frames are a good alternative. These four special posts, into which you simply screw the SmartLights, time a sprint to an accuracy of 0.01 seconds.

It's worth considering a modern approach to your athletics facility, one that is effective and better matches the wishes and needs of today's young people.
