New life for sports equipment
At SV Real Sranang and SC Buitenveldert in Amsterdam we refurbished goals and fitted dugouts with GreenMatter bench boards.
Some time ago, the Municipality of Amsterdam asked us to carry out a maintenance round at Sportpark Middenmeer for SV Real Sranang and at Sportpark Buitenveldert for SC Buitenveldert, to check the sports equipment for defects.
Several goals and dugouts turned out to need a service. Our installation partner Stukart fitted the goals with new nets and new straps that hold the ground frame up. Missing and broken parts were also replaced.
We gave the dugouts a second life with new GreenMatter bench boards, made from recycled artificial turf. This also makes the dugouts much more sustainable.
It isn't always necessary to replace old sports equipment straight away; sometimes it can last for years with a few adjustments. To improve safety at a sports park, it's wise to schedule regular visual checks of sports equipment. Together with Data Control, we offer a digital maintenance and management plan. With the Aantoonbaar Beheer Systeem (ABS, demonstrable management system) you keep all planned maintenance, documents, visual inspections and repairs up to date.
