The school playground of the future

More and more schools are choosing to equip their outdoor space with sporty, attractive and interactive sports equipment. We are happy to help them with our range of sustainable, interactive and multifunctional products.

Since the coronavirus pandemic, outdoor exercise has become even more popular, not only in public spaces but also in school playgrounds. In addition, the Dutch government set up a support programme to help schools tackle learning delays caused by the pandemic. Schools may use this money for various purposes, including sporty and active playgrounds.

Interactive

SmartGoals bring play and gaming together. They are innovative installations that stimulate children's motor development in an attractive way. The playground can be set up multifunctionally with them. SmartGoals are movable, so different set-ups and exercises are always possible and pupils are constantly challenged.

There is also a permanent installation. The SmartGoals Urban SkillCourt can be fully customised and extended with other equipment, such as football goals, boarding and fitness installations. There are also fixed configurations, such as the SmartGoals Interactive Running Track, the circle, the triangle and the square. Users log in via an app to do various exercises and tests.

Sporty

A sporty playground is very important. During the pandemic, people became less active. Outdoor fitness stations give pupils the chance to move. Our range enables varied exercise, with three suitable lines: the NATURE line for fitness and strength exercises for beginners to advanced users, the multifunctional sports-science stations from Dr. Wolff, and for newer sports such as street workout, calisthenics and CrossFit, the multifunctional TURNBAR.

Sustainable

Besides outdoor exercise, sustainability and circularity are important topics. With our GreenMatter initiative, we reduce the artificial turf waste mountain and a school's outdoor space can be fitted out ‘green’. Besides recycled turf decks, which can be combined with Dr. Wolff fitness stations, you can choose planters, picnic tables and benches. These products last at least 40 years and can then be recycled again.

Traditional

Of course, you can also choose traditional sports equipment for a school's outdoor space, such as climbing walls, table tennis tables and table football tables.
