Vakbeurs Openbare Ruimte: will you be there?

On 22 and 23 September the Vakbeurs Openbare Ruimte (public space trade fair) takes place at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, focusing on the design, fit-out, maintenance and management of public spaces.

The fair stands out for its comprehensive range: every conceivable product and service for public spaces is represented. This year there is also special attention for sports facilities, because the Vakbeurs Sportaccommodaties could not go ahead earlier this year due to COVID-19. That's why we are taking part for the first time this year, and also because we have more and more products that suit public spaces perfectly. On 22 and 23 September we will present, among other things:

SmartGoals Urban SkillCourt

Together with our partner SmartGoals, we launched the interactive sport and exercise concept Urban SkillCourt for public spaces. This permanent set-up of SmartGoals posts can be configured entirely to your wishes and responds to trends such as gamification and digitalisation combined with sport.

The first SkillCourt was built as a pilot at the Olympia sports complex in IJsselmonde, Rotterdam: a sports area for young and old, trained or untrained. The court has five zones for gaming (training) or testing, each with its own theme: technique, strength, performance, speed (running track) and gaming (fun). It has also been extended with the TURNBAR®, a multifunctional fitness station.

GreenMatter

Since 2019, together with Lankhorst Recycling Products, we have been rolling out our GreenMatter initiative. When replaced, artificial turf is often seen as waste; we see it as a valuable raw material for new products, aiming to become 100% circular. Our goal is to tackle the artificial turf waste mountain by developing and producing products from recycled turf. With this transparent, practical vision, we support municipalities and others in a circular approach. Our range offers many ways to bring every kilogram of turf fibre back to the sports facility or public space. All products come with a raw materials guarantee: the turf agglomerate is 100% sourced from worn-out artificial turf pitches.
