Buy aluminium football goal
The range of football goals has expanded enormously over the past few years. As a result, you can now choose from goals in a wide variety of formats, profile thicknesses and designs. However, the real difference is not only in the dimensions, but above all in the quality of the construction.
Over the past twenty years, we have developed a series of high-quality aluminium football goals that stand out for their durability, safety and long service life. All our goals are fully welded, reinforced internally and fitted with additional locking between the posts and the crossbar. This well-thought-out design ensures maximum sturdiness, even with intensive use.
Thanks to this robust build, we can confidently offer an 8-year guarantee on the welded parts of the aluminium construction. In addition, safety is central to us. The strong construction combined with the in-milled net fastening prevents protruding parts and thereby minimizes the risk of unsafe situations.
Needless to say, aluminium has become the standard in both amateur and professional football in the Netherlands. Although quality differences are often hardly visible at first sight, they become all the more clear after years of intensive use.
On this page, you discover all the features, advantages and practical examples of our aluminium football goals. This makes it easy to choose the right for a safe, future-proof football facility.

Our aluminium football goals in practice
Features
Corner connection internally reinforced
Football goals with internal reinforcement are significantly stronger than standard designs without extra reinforcement. Thanks to this robust construction, our aluminium football goals are better able to withstand intensive use and have a considerably longer service life.
Base frame through the profile
Because the base frame in our football goals runs through the aluminium profile, an exceptionally strong and stable construction is created. This smart design significantly increases the robustness of the goal and contributes to a longer service life, even with intensive use. Our football goals therefore score particularly highly in terms of durability and sturdiness.
Net bracket through the profile and fully welded around
Our aluminium football goals are first placed in the goal profile and then welded all around. If this is not done, there is a chance that cracks will form on the weld seams.
Fully welded base frame
Because our weld seams are applied manually by experienced welders rather than mechanically, the quality in practice is demonstrably higher. This results in stronger connections, a more robust construction and a longer service life of our aluminium football goals.
In-milled net fastening
Protruding net hooks are dangerous and will rust (with metal) or wear down (with plastic). Our in-milled net fastening prevents dangerous situations.
Net locking (aluminium/rubber)
The in-milled net fastening can optionally be fitted with a net locking strip. These provide extra sturdiness and help prevent theft.
Experiences
Football goals from W&H Sports are extremely strong and can therefore take a hit; they also score a 10 in terms of price and quality.

Frequently asked questions
Aluminium has many characteristics that match the needs of both football players and facility managers. It is strong, light to use, requires little maintenance and is resistant to all weather conditions or discolouration from UV. An ideal combination of properties and therefore an exceptionally suitable material for making football goals.
Start with the attachment of a goal net at the intersection of the goal. With in-milled net fastening, you then hook the net from top to bottom behind the goal profile. Note: divide the meshes neatly. For training goals, apply this also to the base frame. For the most secure attachment, we recommend applying an anti-theft strip. Do this by directing the opening of the strip towards the inside of the goal. Press the strip into the profile. Once the strip is in the goal profile, press it upward (towards the intersection). Then secure the strip by tightening the hex key. If you like, watch our clear instruction video on our Youtube channel!
There are many different types of goals. You have match goals, training goals, youth goals, pupilli goals and mini goals. Match goals (7.32 metres wide and 2.44 metres high) are placed in the ground using an ground socket. On main fields, clubs often choose a football goal with tension rods (also called the cage model). On the other pitches, clubs often install football goals with a net bar or a P-bracket. Training goals have the same dimensions as match goals but are movable and easy to transport. Ideal therefore if you change training format or field. Youth goals are available in fixed and movable versions and have smaller dimensions (5 metres wide and 2 metres high) than match goals. The movable goals can be fitted with transport wheels. Pupils' football uses mini goals (3 metres wide and 1 metre high). Indoor football goals are also available in fixed and movable versions. (3 metres wide and 2 metres high). In addition, there are also goals suitable for public spaces. Often they have a robust character and are fitted with bars (3 metres wide and 2 metres high).
W&H Sports has various football goals that are part of our quality concept. A concept that is indicated by a striking little icon in which 8 years is shown. In the Netherlands, aluminium football goals are used most. However, there are many different aluminium football goals. For example, there are movable goals that are used during training. Fixed football goals that are permanently mounted in ground sockets. In addition, there are also smaller goals available for youth. We have a complete range that caters to the needs of both amateur and professional clubs. Ajax, Feyenoord and AZ, but also FC Lisse and vv Noordwijk, have equipped their fields with a football goal with tension rods (cage model). The ideal goal for main fields. Football goals with round net brackets and movable training goals are also used by clubs at every level.

The layout of a football pitch is essential for the look and feel of a football facility. Even more important is the safety and durability that furnishing materials offer. Football goals play a crucial role in this. Both training and match goals are pitch furnishing materials that are used most intensively. The youngest players up to and including the seniors regularly grab, shift and carry the posts and crossbar of a goal. That’s why no part of our aluminium football goals is fitted with anything less than outstanding components. We think it is important that football goals are safe not only at the time of purchase. Even after our aluminium football goals have been used intensively, the quality remains assured. Thanks to a high degree of durability, safety and quality, Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV chose our football goals. Curious who else makes use of our football goals? View here our references.
Not only the standard of football goals has been raised. The options have also increased considerably. In addition to our popular football goals, we also offer goals that have been designed and produced according to the latest innovations. In collaboration with various clients, improvements and changes have been implemented. This has even resulted in innovative solutions that, for example, solve lack of space. For example, think of the foldable youth goal; an aluminium 5×2 football goal that is easy to move after folding in the ground frame.
In stadiums, lack of space often plays a role too. In addition, the fixed stadium goals are preferably not used during the warm-up due to grass damage in the penalty area. Thanks to the development of our hinged stadium goal the penalty area of clubs, such as Royal Antwerp, VVV, RKC, ADO Den Haag, FC Groningen, FC Twente and Feyenoord remains damage-free during goalkeepers’ warm-ups. After the warm-up, the foldable football goal can be dismantled easily, so supporters’ sight is not obstructed!
A football goal has to be able to take a hit, literally. That’s why our aluminium football goals are made from robust, low-maintenance material that can withstand weather, wind and intensive daily use. Thanks to the high-quality finish and durable construction, our goals remain in excellent condition for years, without needing to be sanded, painted or replaced regularly.
Football clubs value the combination of functionality, appearance and reliability. Our net fastenings and connections are designed to reduce wear to a minimum, so parts can be replaced easily without having to renew the entire goal.
These maintenance-friendly features make our football goals a durable investment. You benefit from lower maintenance costs, fewer replacements and maximum availability for training and matches, season after season.
